Gene Meyer Ties
Introduced for holiday 1991 at Bergdorf Goodman, the collections, all enginnered designs, either printed or woven silk, contained bow ties, long ties and pocket squares. The ties have been worn by many celebrities and are favorites of architects and graphic designers. The first three years they were produced in Kyoto, Japan, and thereafter in Como, Italy. Gene won his first CFDA Award for the tie designs in 1994.
